Xena: Warrior Princess is an action game based on the TV series of the same name. As Xena, the Warrior Princess, the player has to stop the evil sorceress Kalabrax, who seeks world domination which she could gain by sacrificing Xena's friend, the mortal queen Gabrielle. Xena must make her way through many large levels, hacking, kicking, slashing, and cutting everything that gets in her way. Items can be found and upgraded as she proceeds through the levels. Apart from a variety of moves, the game also features little gimmicks such as a "Karma Meter", which gives Xena benefits if she saves hostages or defeats enemies without killing them.
